Thanks to all the attendees and presenters at our Electric Fence Field Day this past weekend! While the turnout was small, it was great for facilitating the producer and experience driven discussion format.

The primary presenters were John Wallace of Olive Branch Goats and Scott Schmalken of Kenosha Hills Kikos. Attendees also offered their own experience and inputs. Everything from charger types to fence construction based on cost and practicality for different use cases was discussed and demonstrated in a real world context. Scott demonstrated polynetting installation and takedown, including the finer points and nuances that help streamline the process. We finished off the day installing a polywire divider fence and moving a herd of goats to their next grazing area.
