The Pipestone Lamb and Wool Program will host its 2026 Sheep Facilities Tour on June 2nd in the Spencer, Iowa area, offering sheep producers a chance to see proven facility designs and management systems in action. This full-day tour will visit six member farms and highlight practical, labor-saving approaches to lambing barns, feeding systems, sheep handling setups, and overall facility flow. Attendees can expect real-world insights from experienced producers focused on improving efficiency and flock performance without adding labor.

Open to producers of all experience levels, the tour runs from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with transportation departing from Spencer, IA.
